“I’m a problem solver at heart; I enjoy getting to know my clients and the process of identifying opportunities and presenting solutions to them. It’s very rewarding to help a friend work toward their life goals as comfortably and efficiently as possible.”
Jason has been with First Robinson for over 20 years. Before devoting his career to investment advising, Jason was a trust officer. After attending Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, IL, he earned his bachelor's degree in business with a focus on finance from Eastern Illinois University.
Jason has a true passion for music and travel. In fact, he often likes to combine the two and travel to concerts near and far. His favorite travel destinations include Colorado or Napa Valley, and visiting the various countries around the world where his family’s former international students live.
At home he enjoys cooking, CrossFit, trivia, and spending time with his wife Brenda, a 2nd grade teacher, and his three children: Mallory, Macy, and Isabelle. Jason is also an active volunteer at Highland Church of Christ, a Kiwanis member (for 25 years!), a member of the Robinson Police Commission, and a former member of the local school board.
Bill says the best part about his role is helping friends transition from work to retirement. He has an unwavering dedication to the people he serves. Perhaps the only thing longer than Bill’s tenure in banking is the list of ways he’s involved in the community.
Bill attended Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, IL. He’s President of the Community Unit Two School Board, President of the Crawford County Recreation Center board, and serves on the boards of the Lincoln Trail College Foundation, Vincennes University Foundation, Crawford County United Way, and the Red Skelton Foundation.
Bill lives in Robinson with his wife Lori, a receptionist at Weber Insurance. They have four children: Charlie, Colby, Ben, and Chance; and five grandchildren: Presley, Finley, Cambry, Hadley, and Kyler. When Bill isn’t at work, volunteering, or spending time with his family, you can usually find him on the golf course, on a Jeep ride, or listening to live music. If he does travel out-of-town, his favorite vacation spots are wherever his grandchildren are.
The meaningful personal interactions Shelly has with each client is the main motivation behind her work each day. Shelly is an Indiana Business College graduate and former travel agent. She also serves the community as the Robinson Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Membership.
Beyond her passion for our clients and getting to know their stories, Shelly has a passion for her family. She and husband John, a business teacher in Oblong, are the proud parents to Brittney, Cameron, and Preston.
Shelly attends Highland Church of Christ in Robinson and is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Being a former travel agent, you might wonder what her favorite vacation spot is - she says you can’t beat the beaches in Cancun!
